Side Story of Fox Volant 40Episodes

The Side Story of the Fox Volant brought me back to when I watched the Shaw brothers on Channel 11 every Saturday; that was when my love for martial arts movies started. Yes, they have dubbed the voices, and the plots were mainly the same, but the scenery’s simplicity and the beautiful martial arts movement captivated me. To my surprise, watching Side Story of the Fox Volant resurfaced happy childhood memories. Let’s face it everyone loves a Hero; Hero Miao was my absolute favorite character. Without a doubt, he stole every single scene he was in, and I looked forward to the episodes when I would see him on the screen.

Hero Miao (Lin Yu Shen ) was a martial arts prodigy who did not seek fame or fortune. Miao Ren Feng had an unyielding sense of justice almost to a fault. And due to unforeseen circumstances, An enjoyable night of food, drinks, and sparring with his blood brother Hu Yidao would forever change his life and ( Qin Jun Jie) Hu Fei. Setting them both on a quest for justice or vengeance. The storyline offers romance, pain, and forgiveness without deviating from the main plot. Side Story of the Fox Volant has beautiful backdrops, fabulous costumes, and impressive martial art scenes. I would rank Side Story of the Fox Volant as one of the best Wuxia dramas in the same category as the five deadly venoms. Without giving too many details, all I can say is this is a drama to watch if you enjoy Wuxia Dramas.

SIGNAL TEASER

As Signal evolves, the three main characters’ storyline becomes one fantastic tale of sci-fi criminals investigating between two timelines. Detective Lee Jae-Han investigated it in the past, while Criminal Profiler Park Hae-Young and Detective Cha Soo- Hyun investigated the future unsolved cases. You will laugh, cry and hang on the edge of your seat, wondering if the trio will triumph over the obstacles ahead. There were moments when I cried because every positive reaction caused an unfortunate adverse event. This series is beautifully written, the acting is superb, and I am still waiting for signal Part 2. It leaves you wanting more, and that’s the highest compliment you can give to any actor, actress, and director who presents such a fantastic body of work for your viewing pleasure.

Park Eun-Bin

Netflix K drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo young-woo has quickly become one of my favorite K dramas. With each episode, attorney Woo continues to grow and develop as a lawyer, in addition to growing and developing her interpersonal skills with her colleagues at Hanbada Law Firm. The acting is superb. The storylines are meaningful, with a perfect blend of comedy and an undertone of significant issues. That never overpowers attorney Woo’s storyline as the first autistic attorney in the Korean Republic.

Woo Young-Woo (Park Eun-Bin) is a trainee solicitor who has Autism spectrum disorder. She is brilliant, with a photographic memory, keen observation skills, and an obsession with whales . Woo Young-woo struggles with her lack of social skills, but she makes up for that with a strong sense of social justice for her clients. On her new journey, Woo faces intolerance and senseless jealousy against her as she outperforms her colleagues. Woo Jung woo may just find love along the way. This show is one to watch! Business Proposal

NetFlix  with a run time of 60 minutes

12 Episodes

Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-Jeong) goes on a blind date under the pretense of Jin Young-Seo (Seol In-ah). Jin Young-Seo’s father has arranged the blind date in hopes of creating a MA with the marriage and the GO Organization.  However, Young-seo has no intention of attending and asks Ha-ri to go and pretend to be Jin-Young; the goal is for Ha-ri to get rejected by the potential husband. Unfortunately, the scenario did not play out as the ladies expected; Because the blind date was none other than Kang Tae-moo (Ahn Hyo-seop), the CEO of Go Food.  The very same company where Ha-ri works. To end his grandfather setting him up on future blind dates, Tae-moo decides to propose to Jin Young-Seo.  That is when the fun begins for the viewers.  As a topper, the real Jin Young-Seo gets into a fender bender with Cha Sung-hoon (Kim Min-kyu), Tae-moo’s secretary. Let’s just say it was love at first sight, and the sparks were flying, and it wasn’t due to the accident.

I must say the business proposal is a light-hearted rom-com with a pleasant ending. It follows the plot of your typical rich boy Falling head over heels for a woman who’s not in the same financial bracket and your rich girl walking away from everything to be with the man she loves who is not from her economic background. Surprise surprise. Can those two couples overcome the lies, financial differences, and family barriers?  My advice is to turn log on and find out.

Ghost Doctor

16 Episodes Run Time 60 minutes

Ghost Doctor storyline focuses on two doctors from two very different worlds. Both hide their inner pain in opposite ways. Cha Young Min (Rain) is a genius doctor with world-class surgical skills in cardiothoracic. However, he hides his personal pain with arrogant and selfish behavior, unlike Seung-tak (Kim-Bum), who retains excellent medical knowledge but lacks the clinical skillset.

Seung’s painful secret hinders him and makes him fall behind his fellow residents in the cardiothoracic department. Young Min is involved in an unforeseen car action, the unimaginable happens.

I have to say I enjoyed Ghost Doctor. The show had great energy, and the bromance between Kim- Bum and Rain is a pleasure to watch. Ghost doctor also had three other great storylines that revolved around the three comatose patients that help pull the story together from beginning to end; it’s a story about lost love, new friendships, and redemption.

Jeong Ji-hoon & Kim Bum share a cute Bromance in Ghost Doctor…
