Let’s Call Him a Quadruple Threat Kim Hyun Joong

Kim Hyun Joong is a South Korean singer and actor. Born on June 6, 1986, Kim Hyun Joong is one of the lead singers and leading rappers for SS501. He made his acting debut in 2005 and starred as Yoon Ji Hoo in the 2009 hit television drama “Boys Over Flowers,” starring alongside Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum, and Kim Joon that propelled him to a household name. Kim Hyun Joong is a triple threat; he sings, dances, and plays multiple instruments and acting. Let’s call him a quadruple threat. I forgot to mention that he also wrote most of his music for his solo career.

He also has starred in a fan favorite, “Playful Kiss” (2010), for which he won the Popularity Award at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards and “Inspiring Generation” (2014). Kim Hyun Joong was my favorite in boys over flowers. I was actually rooting for him to get the girl. Although we haven’t seen him acting on the small screen, you can still catch him performing in concert or video. I hope to see him on the small screen again as he is an outstanding actor in addition to being a brilliant musician.

Yeo Jin Goo One Korean Actors I follow Religiously

Yeo Jin Goo is an award-winning South Korean actor who starred in many popular dramas and films as a child actor. Born on August 13, 1997, he began his career in the hit films “Sad Movie” (2005). I cried so much watching Sad movies and fell in love with the child star; he brings out so much emotion with his acting ability at such a young age.
The following popular dramas were “Giant” (2011), “A Tree With Deep Roots” (2011), “The Moon Embracing the Sun” (2012). In the Moon Embracing the Sun, the child stars draw you. In my opinion, Yeo Jin Goo, Kim Yu Jeong, and KIM SO HYUN laid the foundation for the older actors to carry the series.
Again, the trio worked together in “ I Miss You” (2012), providing another outstanding performance. This young man has an unnatural acting ability that pulls you in for the emotional rollercoaster. I cannot wait until his next show is aired. I have watched him grow up on television with a smile that lights up every scene. As Yeo Jin Goo transitions from a child star into an adult actor, the quality of his work has only improved. Check out some of his most recent hits.

The Princess’s Man

Will their love overcome the blood feud between their two families?

The Princess’s Man is one of my favorite Korean period pieces. Although it is an older Korean drama, the series was well made, and it has stood the test of time. It is full of beautiful imagery and a storyline that offers love, betrayal, revenge that will keep you glued to the television, wondering what will happen next. The cast did a fantastic job showcasing their craft. I laughed, cried, and cried again with tears of joy at the very end. This K-drama has 24 episodes that run for about 30 minutes.

Park Si-hoo is a South Korean actor. He began his entertainment career as an underwear model and stage actor, then made his official television debut in 2005. After several years in supporting roles, Park rose to fame in 2010

Moon Chae-won is a South Korean actress. Moon first attracted attention in 2008 in her supporting role as a gisaeng in Painter of the Wind. She was next cast in Brilliant Legacy, one of the top-rated Korean dramas of 2009

My Introduction to Korean Dramas……

My Love for Chinese and Korean dramas

I really can’t explain how I because hooked on Chinese and Korean dramas.  I remember it like yesterday watching my first Korean drama with Lee Min Ho.  City Hunter, the drama, had twenty episodes that I binged watched over one weekend.  City Hunter would be a television-altering experience.  I had to see more this was great, I remember thinking to myself. Next was Boys Over Flower; I thought, huh, what a silly title.  As I was new to watching Korean dramas, I did not understand the title play on words and almost missed out on watching the series.  I know Boys Over Flower had Lee Min Ho a household name.  I prefer his role in City Hunter.  I have been watching Korean dramas for more years than I can count now; I am also excited to find a comrade to share storylines and plots.
